I like Gus have so many memories of our childhood that it is hard to accept the news of Terry passing. It has been said that leaving the word a better place for having been there is the ultimate judge of character. Terry has left the world a better place because he was here.

So sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you and your family. Terry and I were so close as kids that his passing has knocked me back a bit. He was my best friend and a good guy. While we were ruling the roost as kids he would have given his life for me and vice versa (and we came close on several occasions). No one could ever ask for more than that. I will miss him greatly and will cherish his memory.

To Marsha and the family of Terry Pace:
Linda and I want to express our deepest sympathy to your family for the loss of Terry. He and the Pace family have always been good friends of ours for many years. Terry always greeted us with a smile and a friendly "hello". His friendship to us as well as so many others in Polk County will be greatly missed.
Marsha, may God be with you and the rest of the family.

To the family of Terry Pace,
I am so sorry for your loss. As you may remember, Caroline and I were roommates when she attended the University of Dubuque and I quickly came to know how deeply and truly Terry loved his children and his family. When Caroline was so homesick and missed her first plane home to visit, she made me call her Dad. His very first question was, "How is she?" I'll never forget that conversation with Terry. What a loving father!
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
