Jackie Lee Carey Sr., born on March 31, 1945 in Fountain, Indiana to Melvin Wayne Carey and Anna Melissa Souls Carey, passed away on July 26, 2014 at the age of 69. Those left to cherish his memory are son, Jackie Lee Carey Jr. daughter, Saturday McCauley and husband Robert brother, Fred Carey and wife Debra sisters, Minnie Kingston and husband Jimmy, Sharon Holly grandchildren, Caleb Perry, Dillon Hoover, Stormy Hoover, Seth Hoover, River Carey, Reagan Carey, Reece Carey, Skylar Carey and Lillee Carey numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Jackie is preceded in death by both parents brothers, Cecil Carey, Virgil Carey, Charles Carey, Donald Carey, Ernest Carey and Baron Carey sister, Karen Kincannon. Jackie was a veteran in the United States Army having served five campaigns during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for many years. Jackie was very active and enjoyed life very much. Friends were very important to him and he was a great friend to have. Friends called him Cowboy and Grandkids called him Cowboy Grandpaw.
