November 30, 1946 - February 27, 2015

Memorial Services for Terry Pace, 68, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 10 am, Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Terry was born November 30, 1946, in Houston, Texas, and passed away peacefully in his home on Friday morning, February 27, 2015.
Terry was the son of Perry Pace, Jr. and Mary Hines Pace. Terry graduated from Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas, in 1965. He received his BBA in 1969 and his Law Degree from the University of Houston in 1972, where he was a member of The Order of the Barons and Scholastic Honor Society. In 1968, Terry married Ann Arledge Rice. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive. In 1970, Terry successfully completed his training at the U.S. Army Training Center in Fort Ord, California, and then completed U.S. Infantry School Airborne Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. As a member of the Army Reserves, Terry served in the Air National Guard, where he was a paratrooper. Shortly after graduating Law School in 1972, Terry and his family moved to Livingston, Texas, where he began practicing law, and continued doing so for over 40 years, until the time of his death. In 1983, Terry married Marsha Blankenship, who brought one child to this union, who still survives. Terry served on Boards for several organizations in the community, including the Livingston Hospital Board (Past President 1983-1986), Lions Club (Past Officer and Director), Polk County Chamber of Commerce (Past Director and President), Livingston Country Club (Past Director and President), Polk County Bar Association (Past President), Livingston High School Band Boosters (Past Vice-President) and Youth Sporting Leagues (where he was an Officer, Director, Commissioner, Sponsor and Coach for many years). Terry also served on the State Bar of Texas District Grievance Committee (Past Presiding Officer) for approximately 13 years, as well as the State Bar District Committee for Admissions. Despite his active involvement in the community, Terry’s top priorities were fatherhood and family life. He was very involved in activities with all of his children, and he enjoyed coaching them, playing with them and having fun as a family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Pace, Jr.; mothers, Mary Hines Pace and Doris Standard Pace; uncles Gordon Pace, Ingram Pace, Pat Pace and Vernon Hines.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Marsha Pace, of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Perry Pace III, of Livingston, Texas, Gerald Hudson Pace and wife, Doris Marie of Sneedville, Tennessee; F. Dennis (“Bubba”) Rowe and wife, Helen, of Livingston, Texas; sister, Dalva Rowe Moseley, of Livingston, Texas; son Alexander Lane Pace, and daughter-in-law, Kiele Linroth Pace, of Austin, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith Pace Youngman and husband, Scott, of Castle Rock, Colorado; Misty Blankenship Howell, of Livingston, Texas; Mary Pace Livingstone, and husband, Chris, of Bellaire, Texas; Caroline Carter Pace, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Sebastian Lane Pace, Felix Alexander Pace, Chase Alan Youngman, Caroline Morgan Youngman, Charlotte Aleen Youngman, Catherine Lane Youngman, Bryce Anthony Howell, Victoria Ann Livingstone and Blake Christopher Livingstone; nieces and nephews, Susan Pace Randall, and husband Jim, of San Antonio, Texas; Perry Pace, IV, and wife, Linka, of Indianapolis, Indiana; Hudson Palmer Pace, of Gothenburg, Sweden; and Clare Lane Pace, of San Antonio, Texas.
