James Ray Koester, born on September 27, 1946 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, to Fred James Koester and Mary Martha Patin Koester, passed away on April 7. 2015 in Onalaska, Texas at the age of 68. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 11 years, Marie Koester; children, Tamara Snyder and husband Zack, Shane Lollar and wife Rachel; one brother and one sister; grandchildren, Dakota, Dessa and Daxton Synder, Maycie and Jess Lollar; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. James was preceded in death by both his parents; James served proudly in the United States Navy during Vietnam War. James owned the Camper Coral Mobile Home Park in Livingston, Texas since 2002. He loved being anywhere near water; beaches, lakes, boats and dreamed of going back to Galveston, Texas where he and Marie had dear friends. James loved his grandchildren and they were the apple of his eye. Every morning James would get his grandson, Dakota up and fix his breakfast and get him off to school, just to spend that special time with him. Dessa, Daxton, Maycie and Jess were never far from his heart and he looked forward to spending time with them also. James wanted Marie after his death to go back to all the beaches that they had traveled to and leave a part of him at each. Family was very special to James and he loved his wife and everyone of his family very much and will be missed dearly. A Celebration of James's Life will be held with family and friends at a later date. To sign the online guestbook, please go to www.pacefuneral.com |
