T H Stotts, age 78, of Conroe, was born January 2, 1939, in Lamesa, TX, and died peacefully on the morning of June 6, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and John Nagy; son and his partner, Kevin Stotts and Joe Corner; granddaughter and her husband, Amber and Clint Johnson; granddaughter, Ashley Nagy; grandson, Jacob Nagy; great grandchildren, Natalie and Riley Auld; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Patricia Stotts; sister Jeanne Stotts Mueller; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Brenda Stotts and a host of other relatives and friends. His parents, Sam and Henrietta Stotts, preceded him in death. In 1961, while working for the J. B. White Co. chain of retail stores, T H met and married his loving wife of 55 years, Becky (Alexander) Stotts. Soon after getting married, T H and Becky moved to Hearne, TX where they lived for nearly 30 years. After retiring as Vice President of Marketing for the J.B. White Co. in 1991, T H was an investment advisor for Edward Jones in Livingston, TX. Throughout his career, T H was a devoted business and civic leader, serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Salvation Army, Director of the Hearne Golf Association (one of his favorite pastimes), member of the Hearne Lions Club and Chairman of the Livingston Rotary Club. In 2000, he and Becky retired in Conroe, TX and devoted the next several years to taking care of Becky’s beloved mother, Agnes Alexander. In retirement, T H enjoyed gardening, golf, bowling, family gatherings and reading, especially to his great grandchildren. The family would like to express our deep appreciation to the loving caregivers at Grace Manor and Rose of Texas Hospice. Services for T H Stotts are scheduled for 2PM, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, TX. Mr. Stotts will be laid to rest in the Alexander family cemetery following the service. Dr. Richard Walters, Pastor of Oak Forest Baptist Church officiating; arrangements under the direction of Tony Eaton, Pace Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Pace Funeral Home on Saturday from 12PM - 2PM.
