Oscar Sherman Owens, born August 28, 1950 to Thomas and Ettar Owens in Lufkin, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2018 in Trinity, Texas, at the age of 67 years.
Oscar had many hobbies including fishing and working on mechanical things, but his favorite hobby was playing with his precious grandchildren and great grandchildren
His loving family includes; son Bruce E. Owens & wife, Amber L. Owens; daughter, Terry A. Allsbrooks & special friend, Clayton Bullock; brother, Tommy Gene Owens; sisters Edna Mullican, Ann Louise Cheatham, Effie Charlotte Schmidt, and Betty Louise Owens; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dottie Annette Owens; granddaughter, Brandy Nicole Free
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
