Goletta Brummett

Born June 25, 1929 in Center, Texas to John Henry and Frances Shelton Melton. Goletta was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Goodrich, Texas. She retired from Foley’s Department Store after 26 years of service. Her loving family includes two sons, James Wesley Brummett and David Franklin Brummett and wife Adrienne; three grandchildren David Brummett Jr., Kevin Brummett, and Darren Roberts; great grandchildren Stormy Brummett, Cassie Brummett, Robbie Roberts, Nicholas Roberts and Alexa Roberts. She is preceded in death by her loving parents; husband, James F. Brummett; son, Kirby Brummett; sister, LaMurel Melton and brother, Douglas Melton. Visitation was held on June 9, 2012 from 5 till 9 PM at Pace Funeral Home. A celebration of Goletta’s life will begin
at 2 PM Sunday June 10, 2012 also at Pace Funeral Home with Brother Tom Owen officiating. Interment
