Woodrow Wilson Nelson born on November 6, 1917 in Rosenberg, Texas to Presley Redrick Nelson and Annie Ethel Dever Nelson passed away on February 4, 2013 at the age of 95. Woodrow is survived by his son, Wayne Flannery and wife Betty sisters, Lurline Wilson, Iona Gardner four grandchildren five great grandchildren and one greatgreat grandchild numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ina Merle daughter, Linda Kay Harp one sister, Dorine Eldridge three brothers, Roy Nelson, Ray Nelson, and Bill Nelson. He proudly served as a veteran in the United States Marines having served in WWII. Mr. Nelson was a member of the VFW Post 8568 in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be at Pace Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 58 P.M. with a Celebration of Woodrows life beginning on February 7, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Pace Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Pallbearers will be Dewey Harp, James Harp, Steve Harp, Doug Baxley, Bill Munn, and Buddy Bunk.
