Rubye Winnie Ferguson born on July 17, 1920 to Marlin Lowe and Ethel Abigail Collier Morris in Avinger, Texas passed away on July 17, 2013 at the age of 93. Winnie is survived by her loving husband William R. Ferguson Sr. of 40 years. Children, Martha Jean Renault of Sacramento, CA, Peggy Terry of Dickinson, Texas Martha Ann Wright of Houston, Texas and Joseph A. Regini of Alvin, Texas grandchildren, Greg Derden, Jason Derden of Dickenson Texas, Kevin Regini and Jamie Regini of Alvin, Texas great grandson, Nicholas Derden step children, Bill Ferguson Jr. of Texas City, Texas, Connie Van Zyll De Jong of Clear Lake, Texas, Carol Bachman of Spring, Texas step grandchildren, Leslie Ferguson of Santa Fe, Texas, Neal Ferguson of Texas City, Texas, Keli Wise of Friendswood, Texas and Krista Stithem of Conroe, Texas step grandchildren, Chandler Ferguson, Graycin Ferguson and Ashlyn Ferguson brother Vernon Morris of San Angelo, Texas sister, Nelwyn Collier of Anacoca, Louisiana numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Winnie is preceded in death by her parents brothers, Lester Morris, and T.K. Morris sisters, Mildred Harris, Edrey Morris and Gladys Morris. Winnie was a choir member at First United Methodist Church in Goodrich, Texas. She worked as a Bookkeeper and Bank Teller at the bank of Lamarque for 20 years. Winnie was a member to the Aqua Dears Swim Group and StitchNBitch Quilting Group. Retired in 1983 and traveled with husband Bill. The family would like to thank the staff of Lighthouse Hospice for all the love and kindness that was shown to the family.
