L.E. Willis born on August 22, 1927 in Moonshine Hill Humble, Texas to William and Mary Cook Willis, passed away on July 22, 2013 at the age of 85. L.E. is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Hoffpauir and companion, Charlie Petko of Point Blank, Texas son, William Willis of Friendswood, Texas daughter, Diana Trent and husband Doug of Allen, Texas grandchildren, Chance Ford of Spring, Texas, Corey Hoffpauir of Onalaska, Texas, Jeffery Willis, Phillip Willis, Matthew Willis, Garrett Willis, Elliott Willis, all of Houston, Texas, Austin Willis and Joseph Caldwell of Louisville, Kentucky, Bryan Trent and wife Kris of Allen, Texas, Kirk Trent and wife Catherine of Allen, Texas, Kimberly Wegner and husband Bobby of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Simmons and husband Matt of Austin, Texas Six great grandchildren: Alyssa, Hayden, Kloe, Taylor, Sydney and Bailey longtime companion, Mary Frances Ledo sister, Opal Marsh of California numerous other relatives and a host of friends. L.E. was preceded in death by both his parents his loving wife of 35 years, Glennie son, Tommy Willis Ten brothers and sisters. He was a member of the United States Army and served proudly in World War II. He worked in the oil field business. Loved to have family around and liked to tell jokes. L.E. liked to visit and help people in the Bradford House. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013 between 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. A Celebration of L.E.s life will follow at 12:30 PM with Brother Orval Barger officiating. His proud grandsons will be his pallbearers.
