Cecil Wayne Flannery, born on September 29, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Warren Jamel Flannery and Merle Baxley Nelson, passed away on October 14, 2013 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 70. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Betty Forbus Flannery daughters, Beverly Kay Taylor and husband Kimothy and Donna Flannery brothers, Steven Flannery, Lonnie Mitchem and Rocky Flannery sisters, Venus Richardson and Libby Adkins grandchildren, Kyle Taylor, Kurtis Taylor, Kati Taylor, Shelby Flannery and Kayli Taylor great grandchild, Kaiden Taylor honorary son Buddy Bonk numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Merle and Woody Nelson and Japp Flannery. Wayne belonged to the IBEW716 Local Union in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the American Legion in Willis, Texas. Wayne loved to hunt, fish and was an excellent bowler in his younger years. Waynes favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. Visitation will be at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Celebration of Waynes life will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery.
