Services for Debra Oates, 57, of Lufkin will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, 2014 in the Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Murphy officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon Strong, Bryan Strong, Christopher Murphy, Joel Wood, Tim Mizell and Joshua Willis. Interment will follow at Old Center Cemetery in Huntington, Texas at 5:00 P.M. Debra was born October 14, 1956 in Beaumont, Texas, the daughter of Mollie Wells Willis, and passed away March 13, 2014 in Lufkin, Texas. She loved children and babysat all her life. She kept in touch with the ones she cared for. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Debra supported her family at a hundred percent. She was always laughing and had a great outlook on life, no matter the circumstance. She was a firm believer in doing things right. She also loved to crochet. Debra is survived by husband, Jaime Pagan of Lufkin mother, Mollie Willis of Orange daughter and soninlaw, Angelia and Brandon Strong daughter, Elaina Pagan, all of Lufkin grandchildren, Mia, Gabriella and Carson Strong of Lufkin brother, Jackie Willis and sisterinlaw Suzan of Virginia sister, Verdina Murphy and brotherinlaw Mitchell of Livingston sister, Susan Bryan and brotherinlaw Mark of Beaumont brother, Tim Mizell and sisterinlaw Angie of Pearland and brother, Gregory Willis and sisterinlaw Dana of Orange numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews and a host of friends. Debra is preceded in death by husband, Sonny Oates and son, Gregory Adam Oates.
