Naida McKnight Phillips of Dallardsville, Texas was born on November 25, 1933 in Sweetwater, Texas to Douglas and Mary Landry McKnight and went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the age of 80. Naida is survived by her sons, Jim Phillips of Tarpley, Texas, Doug Phillips and wife Jennifer of Livingston, Texas, Paul Phillips of Dallardsville, Texas, Denny Phillips and wife MaryLynn of Conroe, Texas, Rick Phillips and wife Alana of Sanger, Texas, Steve Phillips and wife Dawn of Charlotte, NC daughters, Denese Lambright and husband Kenneth of Dallardsville, Texas, Dianne Murphy and husband Patrick of Segno, Texas, Sharon Cain and husband Lloyd of Livingston, Texas, Kat Phillips and husband Tod of Montgomery, Texas sister, Myrtis Knape of Alvin, Texas Forty six grandchildren forty one great grandchildren numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by both her parents husband, James Douglas J.D. Phillips grandson, Lloyd Robert Cain great greatgranddaughter, Lydia Nance. Naida loved her Lord, family and friends deeply. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and crochet. She will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on May 12, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas 77351. A Celebration of Naidas life will follow the visitation, at 6:30PM.
