Tessie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Tessie spent her lifetime caring for others beginning a nursing career at the Carrie Tingley Hospital in Truth or Consequences, N.M. in 1947. She continued this care throughout her career in Hobbs, New Mexico at Lea General Hospital, and Llano Estacado Hospital before moving to Texas in 1976.
