Fenton Hulon Shoemake Sr., born on March 26, 1924 in Collins, Mississippi to Fed Shoemake and Ruth Lightsey Shoemake passed away in Conroe, Texas on December 20, 2014 at the age of 90. Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Fenton Hulon JR Shoemake Jr. wife Kelly, Clyde B. Taylor wife Norma, Carroll A. Taylor wife Sue daughters, Doris Jean Magee husband Billy, Lucille Maxey, Patricia Thamm husband Warren sister, Ruth S. Lewis 11 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Huey was preceded in death by both his parents wife, Laura Nell Shoemake brothers, Vernile Shoemake, Granville Shoemake sister, Jeanette McGee Huey served proudly during WWII in the United States Army. He loved to fish and watch old western movies. Huey enjoyed his grandchildren very much and will be missed dearly.
