Cordie Ann Skinner born on July 19, 1942 in Galveston, Texas to George Elson Ives and Mary Louise Langtang Ives, pass away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 72. Those left to cherish Cordie's memory are children, Wendell Goddard & wife Vickie, Elizabeth McCollum & husband Wayland, Frank Clark & wife Sandra, Melody Cunningham & husband Lawson, and Mary Holt; brother, Joe Ives & wife Cathy; sisters, Frances Springer & husband Randy, Glazel Hunter & husband John; 38 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Cordie was preceded in death by both her parents; husbands, Gerald Wilkerson Sr., and Larry Skinner; daughters, Jacquelynn Sheppard, Shelly Wilkerson; granddaughter, Lenora Goddard; Cordie loved her family very much and will be missed dearly. A Celebration of Cordie's Life will begin at 2pm Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 12pm prior the service. Pastor Harold Isaacs officiating.
