Joy Ann Minor, born on August 7, 1923 to John Earl Walter and Ethel McCandless Walter in Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on June 9, 2015 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 91. Those left to cherish her memory are son, Jim Minor and wife Janet; daughter, Sandra Overhoff; sister in laws, JoAnn Walter and Eunice Walter; 3 grandchildren, Michael Overhoff, Jeff Minor and Amanda Minor; 6 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Joy Ann was preceded in death by both her parents; loving husband Rudolph Minor who passed away in 2003; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Joy Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church, in Onalaska, Texas since 1974. She served as an officer at various times with the United Methodist Women. Joy Ann loved to play bridge, fish and dance the jitterbug. She loved her family very much and will be missed dearly. A Celebration of Joy Ann's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, Highway 356 South, Onalaska, Texas with Pastor James Frazier and Pastor Rick Tate officiating.
