Betty Jo May Schulze, 66, of Livingston, Texas passed away on July 2, 2015. Betty was born in Pickens, Mississippi to Clarence and Retha May. Betty grew up in Houston, Texas where she attended school. Betty worked for WalMart and retired after 15 years. Betty was united in marriage to Manuel Schulze on October 6, 1987. Betty enjoyed fishing, boating, playing dominoes, card games, watching westerns, and the price is right. Betty was a member of the Red Hats Club and enjoyed her time with the ladies. Betty loved being with her family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by both her parents, Clarence and Retha May; two brothers, Doyle and Justin May.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 28 years, Manuel Edgar Schulze; two sisters, Gail Smith and husband Ronnie Smith of Trinity, Texas, Sandy Martinez and husband Rufus Martinez of Bryan, Texas; two daughters, Desiree Payne and husband Harry Payne of Kempner, Texas, Terri Rackel of Livingston, Texas; four step children, Becky Stiltner, Teresa Daub, Darrell Schulze and Crystal Short; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Betty was deeply loved and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home, Livingston, Texas. A Celebration of Betty's Life will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home with Brother Rufus Martinez officiating. Pallbearers will be Darrell Schulze, Parker Short, Shawn Schulze, David Daub, Raymond Stiltner and Jason Stiltner. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
