David Lin Clements, born in Carthage, Texas to John Clifton Clements Sr. and Luddie B. Maines Clements passed away on July 15, 2015 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 66. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Sandra Starks Clements; daughters, Terry Bannan & husband Thomas, Wanda Clements and Eddie Sears, Suzanne Bennevendo & husband William, Cassandra Nelson; sons, Benjamin Clements and Joshua Nelson; brother, John Clements Jr.; grandchildren, Christy Woods, Tanya McAdams & husband Clifford, Trisha Woods & husband Tyler Embry, Ashley Clements, Erian Martinez, Logan Martinez, Jose Garcia, Kathryn Garcia, Rosa Garcia, Rhae Vazquez-Nelson and Kaitlyn Bennevendo; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews, other family & a host of dear friends. David was preceded in death by both his parents, 2 brothers; 1 sister; David was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #312. David loved his family very much and will be missed greatly. A Celebration of David's Life will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, Texas with Pastor Fred Huff officiating. Pallbearers are Clifford McAdams, William Bennevendo, Thomas Bannan, Juan Garcia, Mondre Simmons, Eric Aragon, Edwin Sears Jr. and Brandon Clements. Graveside service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, July 20, 2015.
