Margaret Louise Page, born September 4, 1926, in Onalaska, Texas, went home to be with her Lord on September 6, 2015, in Houston, Texas at the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of William Henry Merrell and Daisy Carter Merrell.
Margaret, devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and reading. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Livingston where she and her husband attended services for many years.
Of her immediate family, Margaret is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 72 years, Hubert Page; her sons, Larry G. Page & wife Marsha, Terry L. Page & wife Kathy; five grandchildren, Shelley Page, Brian Page, Michael Page & wife Kim, Matthew Page & wife Heather, and Kristen Castro & husband Leo; four great-grandchildren, Collin Page, Mabry Page, Katelyn Page, Mason Page and two more on the way.
Margaret is also survived by her sister, Mary Ola Acuff; nieces, Sandra Jones & husband Danny, Joanie Knebel and husband Walter, and Brenda Hamm; nephews, Bill Acuff and wife Judy, and John Sheffield and wife Christine; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Merrell and Daisy Carter Merrell; sister, Patsy Ruth Sheffield; and nephews, Norman “Dutch” Acuff and Jarrod Bonnell Knebel.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am till 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350, Livingston, Texas 77351. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will follow visitation at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Livingston, 106 Colt Road, Livingston, Texas 77351. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery.
