Basil Brandon Hooks, born on December 21, 1973 in Nederland, Texas to Ronnie L. Hooks and Belinda Darlene Bailey, passed away on October 17, 2015 in Silsbee, Texas at the age of 41. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Ronnie L. Hooks; sister, Kristi Hooks; brother, Dalton Hooks Welch; uncle, Jimmie Hooks; aunt, Linda McGee & husband John; great aunts, Patricia Criddell, Earl Marie Eddins, Lois Hemby, Jimmie Lee & husband O.L. Collins; great uncle, James Hooks; cousins, Tyler Hooks, Tobey Hooks, Clint Criddell, Troy Kelley, Candace Kelley, Chase McGee, Sissy Criddell, James “Bubba” Hooks, Tommy Williford and Larry Williford; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Basil was preceded in death by his loving mother, Belinda Darlene Bailey Sandfer; brother, Daniel Hooks; grandparents, David L. & wife Hazel Hooks, Basil Bailey & wife Norma, Olladge Collins & wife Ola and James Lee Hooks & wife Vivian; great aunt, Betty Hooks.
Bazil loved the outdoors, to fish and hunt. He loved his family and friends very much and will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas 77351 on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
