William Rance Hendrix, better known as “Sweet William” born November 21, 1934 to L.Z. & Hazel Moore Hendrix in Ruby, Texas, went to be with the Lord December 13, 2015 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 81 years
Bill was a faithful member at Big Sandy Baptist Church, he was an avid fisherman, and loved gardening and his favorite hobby was repairing old boats.
His loving family includes, his wife, Laura Hendrix of 60 years; son, Mike James Hendrix & wife Scarlotte; daughter, Debra Sue Card & husband Doran; brothers, Gary Gene Hendrix & wife Sissy and L.Z. Hendrix JR & wife Michelle; six grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Danielle, William, Melissa and Stephanie; nine great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held at Pace Funeral Home Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
A Celebration of Sweet William’s Life will begin at 10:00 am December 18, 2015 at the Big Sandy Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Hendrix officiating.
Interment to follow at Big Sandy Cemetery.
