Dixie Yonne Vincent, born September 10, 1944 to Wilburn “Dick” T. and Virginia Bruce, in Rochelle, Louisiana went to be with her Lord on March 24, 2016 in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 71 years.
Dixie’s loving family includes: her husband, Val Vincent; daughter, Cari Vincent; three brothers, Wayne Bruce & wife Elsie, Lynn Smith & partner Brian Minyard, and Bruce Smith & wife Mary; two sisters, Nanella Talley & husband Don and Jennifer Stevens & husband Harold, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Virginia Bruce; the father who raised her, William Ray “Buddy” Smith; her daughter, Michelle “Shelley” Vincent; two brothers, Ronnie Bruce and Bill Smith;
Visitation will start at 10am until the service on March 29, 2016 at the Pace Funeral Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Celebration of Dixie’s Life will be at 2:00 pm on March 29, 2016 at the Pace Funeral Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Jerry Gibson officiating. Internment will be at Big Sandy Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
