Joyce Elaine Rose, born December 12, 1937, to Grover and Ruby Magee Mitchell in Navasota, Texas, went to be with her Lord, May 20, 2016 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 78 years.
Elaine’s loving family includes; her beloved husband, Cecil; son, Scott Adams & girlfriend, Linda; daughters, Christine Stobart & husband, George, Chery Cooper & husband, John, Colleen Neathery; brother, Ross Mitchell & wife Susie; sister, Doris Marshall & husband, Bill; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Chuck Adams.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Celebration of Elaine’s life will begin on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Forest Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fairview White Hall Cemetery in Navasota, Texas .
