Peggy Ann Tyson was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on November 23, 1951 and passed away in Livingston, Texas on April 4, 2017, at 65 years of age. Peggy left behind four sons; Christopher (Livingston), Michael (Hawaii), Robert (Florida) and Tim (Ohio), numerous grandkids, nieces, nephews and sister, Debbie Cherry along with countless other family members and friends. Peggy had the God given good sense to know what she wanted and make her demands known but was down to earth even finding humor in her own mistakes. She was the perfect combination of firm, yet friendly and balanced good hearted & tough love which, on occasion caused speculation that the song "mama don't take no mess" was written for her. Peggy whole heartedly backed anyone that she called 'friend' frequently responding "sure, why the hell not" to whatever was being asked from her. She was tough as John Wayne, but gave selflessly of herself and opened her home to others in need. As Peggy's life has come and went, she leaves behind a hearty mix of family and friends that will remember her for being a uniquely out spoken individual and she was one of the rare few bold enough to live a colorful life. In foresight, she modestly waived traditional funeral services, asking that no one 'fuss' over her however, tears will still fall and her genuine laughter will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. To send your online condolences, please go to www.pacefuneral.com.
