David William McCarty, born November 17, 1926 to James and Mildred McCarty in Carmona, Texas, passed away on August 5, 2018 in Leggett, Texas at the age of 91 years.

His loving family includes: wife, Arlene McCarty of 60 years; daughters, Kathy Veillon & husband Michael, Pamela Dupuis & husband Daniel; son, Wade McCarty & wife Christine; grandchildren, Audrey Dupuis, Kylee Veillon and Joshua Veillon; brother, Frank McCarty & wife Delores; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

David is preceded in death by, his parents James and Mildred McCarty; sisters, Willie Coker and Birdie Hand; brothers, Emmit McCarty, Raymond McCarty, Eric McCarty.

He enjoyed gardening, hunting and studying the bible.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday August 7, 2018 at Boldsprings Cemetery, Livingston, Texas with Harold Isaacs officiating.
