Lamar Williford 76, passed away April 16, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Williford was born November 24, 1935 to Clarence Ray and Ila Humble Williford in Big Sandy, Texas. He Is survived by children, Sharon Wood, spouse Larry, Steven Williford, spouse Debbie, Pam Smith, spouse Stoner, Melinda Pate, spouse Richard, Mike Williford; sister, Shirley Ray McKinney; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ila Humble Benkhen and step-father Carol Benkhen. Sister, Joyce Ray; cousin and brother Dwayne Humble. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Services will be held at Big Sandy Community Church, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Rex Hendrix officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Williford, Mike Williford, Steven Williford, Roger DeLong, Chris Williford and Micheal Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Pate, Gerald Humble and Josh Landrum. Interment will follow at Big Sandy Cemetery in Dallardsville, Texas. Pace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
