Rowena Faye Booth Young born on September 18, 1929 in Baytown, Texas to Arthur and Iva Morgan Booth passed away on March 22, 2013 in Livingston, Texas with her daughter holding her hand at the age of 83. Rowena is survived by her daughter, Sandra Simmons and husband Jerry sons, Tommy Zeglin and wife Margaret, Steve Zeglin and wife Cindy grandchildren, Dina Barnes and husband Steve, Dedra Brown and husband Mike, Amanda Taylor and Marty Lopez Chris Zeglin and wife Crystal and Morgan Zeglin and wife Jonna great grandchildren, Victoria Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Makayla Taylor, Lane Turner, Paige Brown, Alyssa Brown, Hayden Zeglin, Kherrington Zeglin and Ayla Zeglin numerous other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Young mother, Iva Pruett stepfather, Tom Pruett father, Arthur Booth stepmother, Sara Bess brother Arthur Booth Jr. sister in law, Lucille Booth.
Rowena loved to cook, tell old stories, loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on March 27, 2013 between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with a Celebration of Rowenas life beginning at 12pm with Pastor James Frazier officiating.
