Elsie Vaudine Platt born on April 17, 1921 in Livingston, Texas to William Apperson and Mary Jane Isaacks Shirley passed away on May 10, 2013 at the age of 92. She is survived by her son, Charles Platt and wife Sissy daughter, Shirley Ann Peden Eight grandchildren Sixteen great grandchildren and Three great, great grandchildren numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Roy Platt daughter, Marjean Gipson parents her siblings and one great grandson. She was a member of East Tempe Baptist Church for many years. Visitation was held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Pace Funeral Home from 5PM to 7PM. A celebration of Elsies life was held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10AM with Pastor Harold Isaacs officiating.
