Ninfa Alvarez, born on January 15, 1931 to Julian Martinez and Romana Llamas Martinez in Mexico, passed away on October 5, 2013 at the age of 82. Ninfa is survived by sons, Rogelio Alvarez, Manuel Alvarez and Hector Alvarez daughters, Maria Oralia Alvarez, Esperanza Alvarado, Irma Guadalupe Alvarez, Olga Franco, Silvia Orpinel, Virginia Gaytan and Elva Casas grandchildren, Celestino, Alexander, Luis Alberto and Felisa Rodriguez, Jesus, Mario Alberto and Araceli Alvarado, Marisol, Rogelio, Jorge, Antonio and Eduardo Alvarez, Juan, Manuel, Elia, Edgar and Johana Alvarez, Francisco Javier, Ricardo and Ivan Alvarez, Teresa, Hector and Sarahi Alvarez, Alberto Jose, Jose Luis and Juan Antonio Alvarez, Victor, Ninfa Margarita and Mayra Alejandra Franco, Martin and Cristian Orpinel, Cynthia Cristina, Esteban and Erika Gaytan, Miriam, Estephani, Jennifer and Pedro Alvarez seventy five great grandchildren one great great grandchild numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Ninfa is preceded in death by her son, Javier Alvarez husband, Juan Antonio Alvarez.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas between 12:00PM to 9:00 PM. A special ceremony will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday to honor Ninfa Alvarez. A Celebration of Ninfas Life will begin on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Maria Azalsua officiating. Pallbearers will be Luis Rodriguez, Jose Luis Alvarez, Mario Alvarado, Juan A. Alvarez, Ivan Alvarez, Hector Alvarez, Antonio Alvarez and Esteban Gaytan.
