James “Jim” Elton Simmons Jr., born on October 6, 1961 in Tennessee to James Elton Simmons Sr. and Judy Walker, went to be with his Lord on January 19, 2015 in Houston, Texas at the age of 53. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Leslie Hartman Simmons; children, Michelle Santiago, James Simmons, Jacob Simmons, Joshua Simmons, Jessica Parker and Wesley Parker; 5 grandchildren; brother, Larry Simmons; sisters, Melissa Simmons, Donna Simmons and Judy Simmons Mire. numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Jim was preceded in death by both his parents; grandparents. Jim loved to fish and go camping. He deeply loved his family and they will miss him greatly. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, Texas 77351 on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Steve Horn will be officiating.
