Linville Brown passed on from this life on October 23, 2015 at the age of 92. Linville was a resident of the Timber Wood Nursing and Rehab Center in Livingston, TX. Linville was born on March 21, 1923 in Smithton, Arkansas and was the son of Jon and Farish Brown. He was brother to Fred, J.W., James, Pauline, Mable and Cleo. Linville attended and graduated High School in Gans, Oklahoma. During World War II Linville served in the U.S. Navy. As a trade, Linville specialized in furniture upholstery. In 1947 he married Loyaluia Sparks in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and in 2015 they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Linville was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers, his grandson Russell Beard and his great-great grandson Teygan Beard. He is survived by Brother James Brown and Wife Nina of Gans, Oklahoma, his wife Loyaluia of Livingston, TX, son Jimmy Brown and wife Margaret, son Terryl Brown and wife Angie of Kingwood, TX, daughter Linda Simpson and husband Elvin of Livingston, TX, daughter Elise Hooper and husband Lance of Fort Worth, TX. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Those that loved Linville pray he has been reunited with family that preceded him in heaven and that he is preparing a place for all of those dear to him. A Celebration of Linville’s Life will be at the Livingston Church of Christ 1107 West Church, Livingston, Texas 77351 on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Lindell Mitchell officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Brown, Jacob Floyd, Cameron Hooper, Lennie Brown, Nicholas Roberson, Kyle Naquin and Keagan Roberson.
