Betty was an artist and crafter at heart and she was always working on some art project or another. The front room in her house was an artist's dream with paints, sewing machines and tools with every nook and cranny stuffed with crafting materials. She was also a passionate gardener who could grow a prize winning lawn in the desert and refinish an antique dresser like a professional at the same time. The house inside was filled with plants as well as outside. She had a nurturing soul and was always raising and caring for some pet or another including pigeons, an iguana the size of a small child, rabbits, cats and a pink naked rat that AJ never knew about. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 12 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty's life.
