Lula Faye Havard Rodgers, born on September 2, 1930 in Lufkin, Texas to J. Floyd Havard and Lillie Belle Deaton Havard, passed away on July 4, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas at the age of 84. Those left to cherish her memory are children, Sharon Elaine Rodgers, Pamela Faye Rodgers Gillies and husband Winston, Richard “Rick” Dale Rodgers and wife Dona; brother, Dalton Havard; sisters, Doris Todd, Reta Jo Mendenhall, Nelda McMullen; grandchildren, Celeste Dennis Kresta and husband Anthony, Tonya Gillies Silk, Mark Gillies, Rachel Rodgers Mefford and husband Paul, Reid Rodgers, Rebekah Rodgers; great grandchildren, Caitlin Kresta, Jamie Kresta, Victoria Silk, Max Gillies, Ireland-Ivy Gillies, Chase Gillies; numerous other nieces and nephews, a host of dear friends. Faye was preceded in death by both her parents; loving husband of 51 years, Loris Byron Rodgers; son, Steven Alan Rodgers; brothers, Kenny Havard, Eugene Havard; sister, Jeanette Costa. Faye was a good cook and loved to be outdoors. She loved her family very much and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas. A Celebration of Faye's Life will be at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Royce Pennington officiating. Pallbearers will be J.R. Bolivar, Jay Costa, George McMullen, Kurt Lear, Reid Rodgers, Paul Mefford.
