Steven Kane Thomas “Goo Man” was born August 27, 1969, in Lufkin, Texas to Bo and Johnnie Byrd (Purvis) Thomas. He passed from this life on February 9, 2023, in Martindale, Texas at the age of 53.
He enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar. Steven was a fun-loving soul that will be miss dearly by those that had the privilege of knowing him.
Steven is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Whitworth; stepson, John Tyler Whitworth; brother, Craig Thomas; grandchildren, Hayes Steven Whitworth, Henley Cheyann Whitworth; nephew, Kyle Thomas; niece, Hallie Thomas; as well as many family, friends, and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation for Steve will be held from 5:00p- 9:00p Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.
A Celebration of Steven’s Life will be held 2:00p Friday, February 17, 2023, At First Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Rex Hoot officiating.
Interment to follow at Stryker Cemetery, in Corrigan, Texas.
