Mary Frances (McWhorter) Laws was born October 5, 1948, in Livingston, Texas, to Jim and Dorothy (Gallup) McWhorter. She passed from this life on May 16, 2023, in Sugarland, Texas at the age of 74. Mary is survived by her best friend, Wesley McMillian; son, Clayton Blank & wife Svetlana; daughter, Sonja Garcia & husband Joe; brothers, Donald McWhorter, and Jeffery McWhorter; sisters, Carol Moore, Irene Myers, Sue McWhorter, Beth Hash, Janis Gibel, and Jennifer Hughes; as well as many other family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorothy McWhorter; husband Thomas Laws; and brother, Joe McWhorter.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held 10:00 in the morning, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, Brother Michael Loftin Officiating. |
