William M. (Buddy) Jones, born November 1, 1929, to Jack & Ethel (Hopkins) Jones in Birmingham, Alabama passed away May 25, 2023, in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 93.
He is survived by two daughters and one son; eight siblings; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and his closes friends of 65 years, Troy and Eleanor Cupp; as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters.
He retired from IBEW after receiving his 70-year pin.
Buddy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. William honored his comrades providing funeral military honors for their service to our country.
He will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery with his fellow comrades at a later date.
