Doreen Marie Burton, 64 of Livingston, Texas passed away August 16, 2023, in Jasper, Texas. She was born December 23, 1958, in Chicago, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Burton; son, Kevin Barnes; grandsons Mason & Ryan Barnes, as well as a host of friends.
Doreen was a devoted mother and grandmother and wife for over 45 years. She outlived both her parents, siblings and one great granddaughter. She was the child of an American Indian father and Caucasian mother. Doreen had a nickname because of her father’s heritage of Sky Woman and her motto was SUCK IT UP BUTTER CUP!
