Guyzell Ward, 84 of Beaumont, Texas passed away on October 2, 2023. He was born on Christmas day 1938, to Marcus Fate and Susan Jane Ward in Newton, Texas.
He was a longtime Beaumont resident and 30-year employee of Market Basket, finally retiring only a month ago.
Guyzell is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda and nine siblings.
He is survived by son, Robert Lantrip and wife Lisa of Livingston; daughter, Sonja (Sandy) Marcotte and husband Paul of Bridge City; also, grandchildren, Morgan Phillips and Husband Tye, Andrew Lantrip and wife Devan, Nick Marcotte, Blake Marcotte and Madison Marcotte; two great granddaughters, numerous other family members and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held at 10am, with A Celebration of Life will begin at 11am, at La Iglesia Apostolica Church located at 777 N. 4th ST, in Beaumont, Texas. Interment to follow at 3pm at Fairview Cemetery in Townbluff, Texas. All on Saturday, October 7, 2023, with Pastor Domingo Torres officiating.
