Michael Merritt McCumber was born July 7, 1949, to Kenneth Merrit and Mildred Blache (Costa) McCumber Sr, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He passed away on January 8, 2024, in Shepherd, Texas, at the age of 74.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael Christopher McCumber & wife Tammy, Heather Ann McCumber & Significant other Christopher Walter Muirhead; brother, Harry McCumber; sister, Larnell McCumber; grandchildren, Michael Christopher McCumber Jr & significant other Victoria Beason, Kourtney Alexis Lee, Michael Lynn Muirhead, Danielle Lynn Bailes & significant other Kolby Hart, Brooklyn Marie McCumber, Wyatt Lane McCumber, Mason Judd Muirhead, Autumn Rae Muirhead; great grandchildren, Kaston Curry Edwin Hart, Kailynn Joyce Ann Hart, Noah Anthony Christopher McCumber; as well as many other loved ones and family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth, and Mildred McCumber Sr; loving wife, Judy Elizabeth Almond McCumber; and granddaughter, Kristian Blanche McCumber.
A Visitation for Michael will be held from 11:00am – 2:00pm, with a Celebration of Michael’s Life to begin at 2:00pm, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Deacon Richard Ruiz officiating.
A Private Interment to follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, in Shepherd, Texas.
