Funeral Services for Ora Lee Sias will be held at Bold Springs Cemetery on Saturday, February 10th at 1:00 PM.
Ora Lee Sias was from Lincoln, West Virginia and born on February 21st, 1925. He passed away on February 3rd, 2024, at the age of 98. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann; parents, Albert Jenkins Sias and Edna Frye; brothers, Monroe, Elmer, Jerry and George.
He is survived by his children, Barbara and Ernie Rowe, Roger Sias and Steve Sias; his grandchildren, Chassity and Jacob Armstrong, Brittany and Clay Calhoun; his great-grandchildren, Hailey Lowery, Kadence Lowery, Cameran Calhoun and Katelyn Armstrong.
Ora was a WW2 Navy Veteran and a longtime resident of Livingston, Texas. He enjoyed gardening, watching old western movies, Pepsi, and most of all hugging his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ora would recount stories from his experiences in WW2, on the USS Bailey, that took him across the ocean to North Africa and the Mediterranean. He is deeply missed by his family and friends.
