Robert Leroy Lamberth Sr., born on November 22, 1942, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Lamberth and Anne Lamberth Witte.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Liz Lamberth, and leaves behind a legacy of dedication and love that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was a beloved father to Son, Bobby Lamberth/wife Vicki; Daughter, Shannon Trahan/husband, Kevin. Robert was most proud of his role as grandfather and great-grandfather to Callie Barber/husband, Cody, and their daughter, Collyns; Shelby Trahan/wife, Amy, and their son, Preston; and Colby Trahan/wife Leigha and their sons, Brayden and Caden. Robert is also survived by his siblings, Carol Vaughn, John and Julie Lamberth, Sandy and Jim Snyder, and Nancy Lamberth and Rose Barnfield, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
For 55 years, Robert was a proud member of the Pipefitters Local 211. He followed in his father?s footsteps, working for Union Carbide/Bechtel for over 30 years as a pipefitter and later an estimator. He was known for his exceptional skill, dedication and strong work ethic which was an inspiration to many.
Outside of his professional life, Robert was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. He was also a proud Lifetime Member of the NRA and passionate about woodworking and had a keen interest in collecting guns and knives. These activities were more than just hobbies; they were a testament to his love for craftsmanship, history, and the peace he found in the great outdoors.
In the months leading up to his death, Robert was cared for with great compassion by Judy Davis and Lori Wooten, whose dedication and kindness brought comfort to him and his family.
Robert's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will always remember his kindness, dedication, and the countless happy moments shared with him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
