Byron Vernon Nettles was born on November 15, 1948, in Livingston, Texas, to Vernon and Myrtle (Capps) Nettles. He passed from this life on June 10, 2024, in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 75.
Byron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a lifelong mechanic and had the privilege of teaching his trade. He found joy in the simple pleasures in life and loved his family deeply. Byron was Veteran having proudly served in the United States Army from 1972-1981.
He is survived by his wife Dianne Nettles; son, Byron Nettles Jr, Ben Nettles & wife Dorothy; daughter, Joy Odom; brother, Henry Nettles, and Kenneth Nettles; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild; as well as many other friends, family and, loved ones.
Byron is preceded in death by his parents and son Joshua Nettles.
A Visitation for Byron will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, from 5:00p- 6:00p, with a Celebration of life to begin at 6:00p, at Pace Funeral Home with brother Mike Loftin officiating.
