Brett Arnold Kunnemann died peacefully at his home on October 9th, in Livingston, Texas at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Kunnemann, children Travis Kunnemann and wife Kimberly of Tulsa and their children Truman, Piper and Frances, Sam Kunnemann of Willis and his son Clayton, Grant Kunnemann and wife Janelle of Beaumont and their son Thomas, siblings Susan Shuey and Mark Kunnemann as well as numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Laurene (Ruff) Kunnemann of Sugar Land, Texas.
Brett was born in Houston, Texas on October 15th, 1958 to Elmer and Laurene. Graduating from Southwest Texas State University, he worked in oil and gas and real estate before settling into a long career in healthcare in which he was passionate and made a positive impact on countless lives. He married his wife of over 40 years on June 30, 1984.
His wife and children remember him as a loving spouse, father, and grandfather who championed everyone?s accomplishments. He had advice or a story to share about any crossroad or challenge that his children came upon in life. He was incredibly proud of his family.
Brett was well-known throughout all the communities he lived in - he spent more than 30 years raising a family in Sugar Land, TX before moving to Livingston to live his dream life on the lake with his wife, Lisa. He served those around him in many capacities over the years and developed strong friendships with everyone he encountered. He will be missed by many and remembered with a smile.
A Memorial service is scheduled for November 2nd at 10:00am at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, TX.
